Steel Cut Oats

Steel Cut Oats cooked with a Peach, a pinch of Cinnamon and a splash of Vanilla.
I cooled the oats overnight and topped with Raspberry Greek Yogurt and Maple Pecan Butter in the morning.

Topped them with a chopped peach and maple pecan butter.

Overnight Oat Smoothie

Overnight Strawberry Banan Oats blended together in the morning.
Topped with Homemade Maple Pecan Butter. 

Overnight Oats:
1/4 cup oats
1/2 cup plain greek yogurt
1 banana
~1/2 cup straweberries

Stir together ingredients and place in the fridge overnight. In the morning add mixture to a blender and puree. Enjoy your thick and delicious smoothie with a spoon.

Kit's Organic: A Review

The lovely folks at Clif Bar & Company sent me a sample of their new Kit's Organic Fruit and Nut Bar. Kit's Organic Fruit and Nut Bars are certified Organic, soy free, dairy free and gluten free bars made from pure and simple ingredients. I received one of each flavor.

Peanut Butter: Organic Dates, Organic Peanuts, Organic Almonds, Sea Salt.
Cashew: Organic Dates, Organic Cashews, Organic Almonds, Sea Salt.
Chocolate Almond Coconut: Organic Dates, Organic Almonds, Organic Unsweetened Chocolate, Organic Coconut, Organic Virgin Coconut Oil, Sea Salt.
Berry Almond: Organic Dates, Organic Almonds, Organic Barberries, Organic Bilberries, Sea Salt.

 I tried the Peanut Butter flavor first and boy was it good. These bars are similar to a Lara Bar in ingredients but I think they have a better taste and texture. They are firm, dense and a great flavor. Unlike a Lara Bar these bar are not at all sticky which is ideal when you are on the run.
 I have really enjoyed each of their four flavors and would recomend you give them a try. 

I've eaten the plain and in some fun ways as well:

 Crumbled into yogurt.
On top of a halved nectarine with Greek yogurt.
